About TubeGrab
Why this tool exists
Most YouTube downloader pages treat you as the product of a popup maze: fake download buttons, redirect chains, quality labels that lie about audio. TubeGrab is the opposite idea: one honest page that lists exactly what the source serves — with audio, video-only, or the audio track — with sizes shown, nothing that opens by itself, and a close button on everything that appears on your screen.
How it works
The resolver runs server-side and rotates several independent sources, so when YouTube throttles one the tool degrades gracefully instead of dying for the day. Downloads are served through a small proxy that attaches the real filename, because direct video links expire within hours and are tied to the IP that resolved them.
Honest limitations
We show what the source exposes at that moment: sometimes that means fewer qualities than usual, and higher resolutions are video-only files because that is how YouTube stores them. We do not fake MP3 conversions — you get the original audio track, and any local converter can turn it into MP3 if you need to.
